About Pine view home-stay at Lepchajagat

The  home stay is owned by a local of Lepcha Jagat , Mr Sahadeb Tamang. This is the view from his home-stay. 





You don't have rush to Tiger hills to see Kangchenjunga. Just climb up few steps from our homestay and voila ! You have 180 degree view of Kangchenjunga.

For this you don't have a pay Rs 1000-1500 to reach the view point, unlike Tiger hill!! You can reach this view point walking!!

The rates in our homestay is reasonable - Rs 900 with full day meal (breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, Dinner) and you can contact us at 96099 82 756 and 9002610162.  For group booking some concession is available.


There is a spacious dining room.


There are 5 rooms which can accommodate upto 19 people. We have modern Western Toilet (with ceramic tiles) with Commode shower. We have a Dining room, where you can catch latest news in our wall mounted TV.







How to reach our home-stay ?

Take any Darjeeling bound Taxi from Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand by paying Rs 150 and get down at Ghoom at the Ghoom Train Station. From there take any shared Taxi |(every 1 minute you will 1 Taxi) towards Mirik/Sukhia Pokhri/Lepchajagat and pay only Rs 30 for 20 minutes journey through mastic asphalt road and reach our homestay before you reach Darjeeling. 

From Ghoom, Darjeeling is 8 Km and Lepchajagat is 7 Km.

Sometimes there is problem with mobile tower. So do not lose heart !

Within 2 Km is Ghoom Rock, through the pine lined  and misty forest . We can take you for a guided tour.

Within 10 Km is World famous Mim Tea estate - where you can taste one of the best single tea estates of the world and buy tea at their boutique tea house - we can take you their for a reasonable charges to see tea plucking. It is one of the few places from where you can see Mount Everest.

Further 3 Km from Mim Tea Estate is Jorpokhri where there is fabulous view of snow peaked Himalaya through a pine lined well paved serpentine road. There are two ponds where you get Salamanders one of the rarest amphibian creature of the world and you can also see 500 year old Shiva and Shakti Temple .
